Stihl's HS family of hedge trimmers is equipped with a 22.7cc 2-cycle engine created for hedge trimmers and features a muffler design that directs exhaust emissions away from the operator.

Tanaka introduces the HTD-2530PF Hedge Trimmer, which features the QuickTwist handle system that allows the rear handle to be set at any position within a 180-degree range. The hedge trimmer is powered by Tanaka's 1.3-hp, 24.0cc PureFire low-emission 2-stroke engine. Additional features of the hedge trimmer include 30-inch double-sided, dual reciprocating blades and a one-year warranty. The HTD-2530PF also cuts branches up to 0.75-inch in diameter.
