The M216 Polymer Injector Machine from American Soil Technologies injects a polymer solution into established sod through center-drilled stainless steel knives. These injection knives are constructed of induction hardened and tempered stainless steel for durability. Each roller contains 24 knives mounted in two rows, spaced 3 inches apart. Each knived roller is independently attached to a support arm allowing 8 inches of vertical travel with down force to each arm provided by an air spring. The down force can be adjusted up to 200 pounds for varying conditions. The M216 injects the Nutrimoist L polymer solution into the turf as the injection knife is forced in and out of the ground.
