Aquascape Designs Unveils Enhanced Branding Strategy
On July 13, Aquascape Designs President and CEO Greg Wittstock announced the details of the company’s major brand enhancement strategy. Effective January 1, 2007, Aquascape Designs will be known as Aquascape, Inc. in a massive branding initiative designed to simplify the water garden industry, while providing customers with the latest innovative products faster and making it easier for customers to do business with Aquascape.
The company has been diligently working on the branding initiative for over a year and includes brand name changes on products, as well as a sleek new logo for Aquascape that will be seen on store shelves beginning in late fall 2006. “It goes back to simplifying things and making it easy for our customers to do business with us,” Wittstock said. “I loved the old logo and will always love it because it’s representative of our roots. But the truth is, as we’ve grown and evolved it no longer accurately represents our product line.” The Aquascape team worked with Judith Guido, of Guido and Associates, a business management and marketing consulting company.
The new logo and name changes were revealed during Wittstock’s opening speech at Aquascape’s Pond College 2006 held at the Pheasant Run Resort in St Charles, Ill., where over 1,100 professional contractors from around the globe attended.
