Ariens Company received the 2005 Manufacturer of the Year Award in the category of large-size manufacturer. The annual program is co-sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the state’s largest business association; Michael Best & Friedrich LLP; and Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP. An independent panel of judges selected the winners.

The judges acknowledged Ariens as an industry innovator that has tackled the challenges of international competition head-on.

“Ariens employees work tirelessly to remain competitive against global pressures,” says Dan Ariens, president of Ariens Company. “Their efforts to embrace Lean manufacturing principles have allowed us to improve productivity, introduce innovative new products and even gain market share.”

Ariens Company was nominated for the award by the Brillion Chamber of Commerce.
