Arysta LifeScience North America Receives Expanded Preventive and Curative Application Label for Arena Insecticide
Arysta LifeScience North America Corporation announced it has recently received federal EPA approval of expanded label application timing and rates for ARENA Insecticide to control white grubs and other major pests in golf turfgrass management. Certain state registrations may be pending.
“This new label approval reflects the unique preventive and curative grub control activity that clothianidin, the active ingredient in ARENA, has demonstrated in widespread field research,” said Tom Kroll, product manager, insecticides, Arysta LifeScience. “Possessing both preventive and curative activity allows ARENA maximum flexibility, expanding the grub control treatment window from early May to early September,” Kroll added.
In 2005, ARENA Insecticide was proven in extensive trials among 20 leading university turfgrass researchers and major turf management businesses across the U.S to provide effective control of white grubs, chinch bugs, sod webworms and other pests.
