ASGCA Releases Free Brochure to Answer Questions on Golf Course Remodeling
The American Society of Golf Course Architects is offering “The Golf Course Remodeling Process – Questions & Answers,” a free, illustrated brochure available to anyone interested in the planning process.
The brochure answers many of the basic questions that arise when undertaking such a project. These questions include the most basic (Why remodel?) to the more complex (How can a project be funded?). Also included are a “Remodeling Checklist” and a list of resources for use during the remodeling process. The brochure is an excellent resource for use during the planning stages of a golf course redesign because it explains the process to a club or course’s green or planning committees.
In addition to the brochure, ASGCA also offers its nationally recognized Remodeling University program, educational symposia that provide superintendents, managers, owners and green committees with detailed information on golf course remodeling. For additional information on this program, or to schedule a symposium in your area, call ASGCA at (262) 786-5960. Also offered in conjunction with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), is ASGCA’s opening section of the Remodeling University program (Remodeling 101), which is now available as an on-line course at www.gcsaa.org.
