Three Elected Regular Members by ASGCA
Three Associate members successfully completed all requirements and were elected Regular members of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) at the organization’s recent 60th Annual Meeting in Pinehurst, N.C.
Those attaining full membership in ASGCA include: Chip Powell (Bradenton, Fla.), Brian Costello (Belmont, Calif.), and Ken Ezell (Deltona, Fla.).
- Chip Powell—Founder of Powell Golf Design Company of Bradenton, Fla. Powell’s recent work includes Solana Golf Club in Ft. Myers, Fla.; Renaissance Golf Club in Sun City Center, Fla.; and St. Cloud Golf Club in St. Cloud, Fla.
- Brian Costello—Partner of JMP Golf Design Group—offices in Belmont, Calif., and Chapel Hill, N.C. Costello’s recent work includes Whiskey Creek Golf Club, Ijamsville, Md.; Callippe Preserve Golf Club, Pleasanton, Calif.; and Black Stone Golf Club & Resort, Jeju, Korea
- Ken Ezell—Partner of Clifton, Ezell and Clifton Golf Design Group of Deltona, Fla. Ezell’s recent work includes Forest Lake Golf Club of Ocoee, Ocoee, Fla.; Remington Golf Club, Kissimmee, Fla.; and Glenview Champions Club, The Villages, Fla.
Regular membership in ASGCA is earned after a member has been an Associate member in good standing for at least three years and has designed and seen through to opening two additional 18-hole golf course equivalents.
