Bad Boy Mowers and Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power Sponsor Nextel Cup Race Car
Bad Boy Mowers, Inc. and Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power were two of several sponsors of the number 23 car in the May 1 Aaron's 499 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at the Talladega Superspeedway.
The car, which is owned by Bill Davis Racing, was driven by Mike Skinner, and finished 42nd after running in the top 20 before being involved in a 25-car wreck about two-thirds through the race.
Bad Boy Mowers, whose mowers are powered by Vanguard BIG BLOCK engines, said sponsoring such a prestigious race was an easy decision.
According to Bad Boy Mowers owner and CEO Phil Pulley, "Sponsoring the car is one of the best promotional events for our company. Not only did it increase exposure for our company, but it also introduced our mowers to potential customers."
Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power was also thrilled to participate in the race.
"This was our first NASCAR car sponsorship and it provided an excellent opportunity to introduce us to the NASCAR fans," said Doug Page, Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power director of commercial marketing.
