Bayer Environmental Science Announces Registration of Forbid Miticide

Bayer Environmental Science recently announced that it has received registration by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its new miticide product, Forbid. The miticide offers knockdown and residual control of mites and whiteflies.

Containing the active ingredient spiromesifen, Forbid is the only miticide with the lipid biosynthesis inhibitor mode of action. It works by preventing the treated insect from maintaining proper water balance. The treated mite or whitefly eventually dries up and dies.
