BioSafe Systems Begins Study With Cornell University

BioSafe Systems is breaking new ground. In conjunction with Cornell University, BioSafe Systems has begun a trial that tests the effects of ZeroTol Professional Turf Care injected through Greenside Injector Units (GSIs) onto putting surfaces.

The GSI is a new piece of application equipment that is designed to make it easier to keep greens clean of algae, bacterial and fungal diseases. Customized for each green and installed below ground, the GSI injects into the irrigation systems' greenside loop. Automated chemical applications are made through the sprinkler heads, independent of the irrigation cycle. Two GSI units have already been successfully implemented on problem greens at country clubs in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
