BlueYellow Acquired By Koch Cellulose, LLC
Koch Cellulose, LLC will now manufacture and market BlueYellow, an innovative turf establishment system, which combines high quality seed and fertilizer in a lightweight, biogradeable roll. Koch Cellulose acquired BlueYellow as part of a purchase deal struck with Georgia-Pacific, which was finalized in May.

The Koch Cellulose organization will allow us to more effectively support the launch of BlueYellow into the golf and turf, professional landscape, consumer and industrial markets. We will be able to respond more quickly to the needs f the marketplace.”
Georgia-Pacific agreed to the sale of its fluff and market pulp business to Koch Cellulose, LLC. The purchase included tow pulp mills, a short line railroad and the assets of two international sales office, as well as BlueYellow. Koch Cellulose, LLC is owned by Koch Industries of Wichita, Kan.
