Bomag Americas Appoints Randecker as President, Simpkins to Retire
Jerry Randecker has been appointed president of Bomag Americas effective Oct. 1. Randecker succeeds Charles M. Simpkins, who is retiring after more than 15 years with the company.

As president of Bomag, Randecker will be responsible for operations in Kewanee, Ill., Warrensburg, Mo., and Mississauga, Ontario.
Randecker previously served as president of Spencer Fluid Power, a supplier of hydraulic components and systems based in Kent, Wash. Before Spencer, Randecker served as president and chief executive officer of Construction Machinery Inc., a heavy construction equipment distributor based in Anchorage, Alaska; and Hitachi Construction Machinery (America), based in Houston.
Simpkins joined Bomag in 1991. He served as senior vice president of marketing and sales for North and South America from 1992 to 1999. He was then appointed president in October of 1999.
