Broyhill Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary

Broyhill Inc. is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Roy and Arline Broyhill started the Broyhill Company in March of 1946. Their first products were equipment built to spray 2,4-D on agricultural crops. In the 1960s, Broyhill expanded its market to product lines to include turf-spraying equipment for golf courses, parks and municipalities.

Broyhill has private-labeled equipment for Cushman, E-Z-Go, Toro, John Deere, Graepel, Gravely-Ariens, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Daihatsu, Tractor Supply, Montgomery Ward, Standard Oil and many more manufacturers.

Today, Broyhill continues to maintain a complete manufacturing facility including administrative, engineering, production, sales and marketing as well as doing joint ventures with several foreign firms. President Craig Broyhill says, “It is now more important than ever to be a global competitor to succeed. I can proudly say that we, at Broyhill, are now successfully competing in the global market.”
