President Bush’s Texas Getaway Recycles Water
According to the Irrigation Association, water used in President George W. Bush’s weekend house near Crawford, Texas, is recycled for irrigation. The house, which draws its water from a well, is equipped with below-ground filtration tanks to recycle gray water (from showers and tubs) as well as black water (from the toilet) to irrigation the garden. The home is a green home that also has a geothermal heating and cooling system.
