Curvularia Added To 26GT Label
Bayer Environmental Science recently received supplemental registration from the EPA for the addition of Curvularia to the 26GT fungicide label.
The supplemental label states the product may be applied as a preventive treatment every 14 days at rates of four fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet. A foliar-applied fungicide, 26GT is used for turfgrass disease control on golf courses, sod farms, and institutional areas where fine turf is grown.
Also known as Curvularia blight and fading out, Curvularia is a leaf spot fungus, which causes spotting on grasses. When infected, turf appears thin, ragged and yellowing.
26GT fungicide is a broad-spectrum product registered for control control of brown patch, dollar spot and a variety of other destructive turfgrass diseases. Trusted by superintendents for its long residual disease control—14 days or longer—26GT also provides quick disease knockdown, even at the height of summer heat and humidity.
