John Deere Names Director, Commercial Segment Marketing

The John Deere Worldwide Commercial & Consumer Equipment (C&CE) Division announces the appointment of Gregg Breningmeyer to director, commercial segment marketing.

In this position, Breningmeyer is responsible for driving growth and profitability of both the John Deere commercial mowing and golf and turf businesses, and integrating sales and marketing activities for the entire John Deere commercial product line.

“Whether they’re charged with maintaining a tournament-quality golf course or a well-manicured residential landscape, today’s commercial customer needs products and business solutions that allow them to better serve their own customers,” says Breningmeyer. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help deliver these solutions and drive John Deere’s strengthened presence in both the commercial mowing and golf and turf markets.”

Breningmeyer will use his unique mix of experience, along with best practices from across the Enterprise, to continue providing all John Deere business-to-business customers with the equipment and efficiencies needed to be successful in today’s marketplace.

Breningmeyer has served the C&CE Division in many roles since joining John Deere in 1988, including territory manager, national account manager, regional sales manager and marketing manager for commercial mowing. In his most recent assignment as director of sales and marketing for golf and sports turf products, he was responsible for the development and rollout of John Deere Golf & Turf One Source. Breningmeyer has a bachelor of arts in business administration from Eastern Illinois University, as well as a master’s in business administration from Duke University.
