EXPO 2006 Registrants Could Win Big
Several exhibitor sponsorships will offer registrants for the International Lawn, Garden & Power Equipment Expo (EXPO 2006) the chance to win valuable prizes. This year’s EXPO is set for Oct. 6-8 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute sponsors the annual event.
Industry members who register via the EXPO Web site, www.expo.mow.org, will have a chance to win a HydroCut 36 mower from Ferris Industries. This new single hydro-drive walk-behind features Ferris’ exclusive Torque Tuned Blade system. It is powered by a 13-hp Kawasaki V-Twin gasoline engine with electric start and has a 36-inch cutting width.
For another chance to win, Walker dealers, owners and operators can demonstrate their skills in a friendly, international competition. On Friday, participants will maneuver a Walker Mower through an obstacle course. On Saturday morning, operators with the top 50 to 75 qualifying times will try a more challenging course. Then, the top 10 to 15 contestants will advance to the finals on Saturday afternoon. Walker will provide awards to the top three operators, including an expense-paid vacation trip to Colorado for the winner.
STHIL will be sending a postcard to registrants offering the opportunity to sign up for a chance to win a “chopper” made of STHIL parts. The chopper will be given away in 2007.
Bill Harley, president and CEO of OPEI, is excited about the added benefits exhibitor-sponsored giveaways offer to attendees. He said, “These giveaways certainly add synergy to the show, and on top of that, they offer an extra incentive for industry members to attend this premier event.”
