2004 GCSAA Legacy Award Winners Selected
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), the Environmental Institute for Golf and Syngenta Professional Products recently announced the winners of this year’s Legacy Awards. The awards program benefits children and grandchildren of golf course superintendents. Increased funding from Syngenta this year resulted in the program presenting 20 winners with a $1,500 scholarship each to assist in their education. Scholarship recipients can pursue any desired course of study.
"Syngenta Professional Products values the hard work and dedication of the golf course superintendent and the GCSAA," says Joe DiPaola, Ph.D., golf market manager for Syngenta "The Legacy Awards program is one way that Syngenta can honor superintendents and their families with scholarship support for their higher education aspirations."
