GM Launches Redesigned Web Site for Fleet and Commercial Customers
The Web site, www.gmfleet.com, has been redesigned with all-new features for small business owners, fleet managers, fleet management companies, government agencies and special vehicle manufacturers. Whether operating a fleet of one or one thousand vehicles, General Motors customers now have easier and quick access to information and assistance tailored to meet their needs.
“The site redesign is the result of comprehensive research and direct input from customers, site users and subject experts,” said Brian Bowden, marketing director, Cross Vehicle Marketing. “The new design is more user-friendly and offers the right tools to help customers manage their businesses more efficiently.”
The Vehicle Showroom section features enhancements, such as enlarged exterior and interior vehicle photos for the 2006 model year line up. Within the Vehicle Showroom detail page, customers can easily access additional vehicle information such as order guides, competitive comparisons, crash test ratings, annual fuel cost, incentives and much more.
In addition, new features, such as a listing of new and upcoming GM vehicle launches, the GMAC payment calculator, and the Fleet Tools ID request page, make www.gmfleet.com a “must see” for business owners and fleet managers.
The site also features a Fleet Discount Chart, which allows customers to easily understand discounts available based on the number of business vehicles they have. The all-new Owner Center, located within the Small Business section, provides customized vehicle information, such as owner’s manuals, a service and maintenance log and service reminders.
“This is all about making it easier for current and potential customers to do business with GM. When we redesigned the site, we wanted to provide customized management tools and services to help simplify vehicle research and management decisions,” said Bowden.
In addition to the new features, GM’s Web site continues to provide the same wealth of useful tools and features that help make business vehicle research, acquisition, and ownership a breeze. Features include information on vehicle order status, financing, eFleet Product Availability, a Special Vehicle Manufacturer Locator, a Commercial Truck Guide and Service Programs.
The Web site also contains an industry-first feature called “Quick Answers”. Visitors simply complete a form, click the submit button and a Fleet and Commercial Action Center specialist will respond promptly with a telephone call.
