GCBAA Introduces Construction Estimation CD-ROM
Packed with regional estimation information for constructing courses across the country, the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA)’s new construction estimation CD-ROM is an essential tool for today’s golf course builder.
The CD-ROM, entitled “Guide to Estimating the Cost of Golf Course Construction,” was developed to assist golf course developers in understanding and accurately estimating costs for a construction project. Much of the information was obtained by surveying GCBAA members to determine various costs. The estimates also account for regional differences based on environmental considerations.
The CD includes a “Products and Services” section, GCBAA Membership Directory, bibliography, estimates for 25 major line items, detailed calculations section and contact information for the GCBAA. This is an updated version of “Cost Estimating” CD-ROM, formerly available from the GCBAA.
GCBAA members can purchase the “Estimating Costs” CD-ROM for $50 per CD. Non-Members can purchase the CD-ROM along with the GCBAA’s newly released 2006 Membership Directory for a total cost of $100 per set.
