New Green Industry Political Action Committee Formed

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) recently announced the formation of the Professional Landcare Network Political Action Committee (PAC). This powerful tool provides members with the means to combine their political contributions so that they achieve a stronger voice on Capitol Hill.

PACs are an important aspect of American politics and the American electoral system. They exist legally as a means for corporations, trade unions, and other organizations to make donations to candidates for federal office, something that they cannot do directly. PACs enable members of an organization to participate in the legislative process by influencing the election process by aiding candidates with similar values and beliefs. This open, honest system is well documented and a bonafide resource. The new Professional Landcare Network PAC is a valuable resource for PLANET to become stronger and more effective in Washington, D.C.

David Crow of DCLRS, PLANET’s lobbying firm, says, “PAC contributions really do create access and help for our friends and provide an outstanding opportunity to educate members of Congress and their staffs.”

For more information about contributing to the Professional Landcare Network PAC, please visit PLANET’s Web site,, click on “Legislation” and “Professional Landcare Network PAC.” Or contact PLANET Director of Government Affairs Tom Delaney at or phone (800) 395-2522.
