ANLA Landscape Operations Tour Rolls into Ohio, August 20-24
The American Nursery & Landscape Association’s annual Landscape Operations Tour will roll into southern and central Ohio, August 20-24. This year’s tour will visit ANLA members in the area and show attendees how some of the best firms in the country deal with the most pressing problems in their businesses today. The in-depth operations site visits will mix structured departmental sessions with an overall view of the operations, allowing visitors to focus on specific issues.
The Landscape Operations Tour is an action-packed three and a half days of education. Attendees will go behind the scenes to learn strategies used by peers to manage people, equipment, materials and facilities to deliver top-notch services at a sustainable high profit level. Owners and upper-level managers should attend to take advantage of the strategic focus of this program.
The tour will highlight leading landscape operations in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus. Attendees will enjoy a stroll through exclusive private gardens of the Hyde Park neighborhood and a horticultural tour and dinner at the Cincinnati Zoo. To celebrate the centennial flight of the Wright brothers, ANLA participants will enjoy a fly-over of the Wright “B” Flyer replica.
