Ariens Company continues 85th Anniversary Celebration, announces winner of Gravely reconditioned tractor
Ariens Company continued the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Gravely Tractor by hosting the Gravely Mow In on August 3 and 4 in Brillion, Wis. The event was filled with many activities. Visitors had an opportunity to tour the Ariens plants and to see the two-wheel tractor being manufactured. In addition, visitors to Horn Park in Brillion could watch plowing and cultivating demonstrations, along with tractor pulling. Old Gravely tractors and attachments were on display throughout the event. An auction was held on Saturday and chances for door prizes were sold throughout the event.
More than 150 people gathered at Horn Park in Brillion to take part in the activities.
Ariens Company hosted this event, donating more than $2,000. This money was raised by selling tickets on a Gravely reconditioned L8 tractor that Ariens donated to the club. The drawing for the reconditioned Gravely tractor was won by Linda Hoelscher from New Knoxville, Ohio. Linda and her husband were present and were able to take the tractor home to include it with the collection of Gravely tractors that they brought to the show.
