Audubon Membership Offered as Accolades Reward
Accolades members now can earn points toward membership in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, Bayer Environmental Science recently announced. The Audubon International program membership was added as one of the many educational items available through the rewards program.
Annual membership in the Audubon International program is $150. As part of Audubon International’s Fifty in Five initiative, Accolades members accruing 13,500 points can exchange them for the Audubon program membership. Alternatively, members can donate their points to Audubon International to support the organization.
“The addition of the Audubon membership to the Accolades program is an example of the many value-added, business-oriented reward items offered by Bayer,“ said Bryan Gooch, programs manager for Bayer Environmental Science. “Other examples include membership in GCSAA and payment of travel expenses to industry meetings and seminars.“
Audubon International is a not-for-profit environmental organization working to foster more sustainable human and natural communities through research, education, and technical assistance. Established in 1991, the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses works with golf courses to maximize wildlife habitats, conserve and protect water, and reduce potentially adverse impacts to the local environment.
Introduced in late 1999, the Accolades program allows users to earn points toward rewards by purchasing products. Rewards include turf equipment, electronic items, fishing and hunting gear, sports equipment, trips and donations to turfgrass associations.
