Bachman Elected ANLA President

Dale Bachman, president of Bachman’s, Inc., was recently elected as the American Nursery & Landscape Association’s (ANLA) 2003-2004 president during the joint board meeting at ANLA’s annual Convention & Learning Retreat in Boston. Bachman’s, founded in 1885 and based in Minneapolis, is a diversified, family-owned horticultural enterprise, with 20 retail locations, interior and exterior landscaping divisions, a nursery wholesale division, and a 629-acre growing range.

Bachman has an impressive history of service to the nursery and landscape industry. He has served as lieutenant governor and governor of ANLA, and is a past president of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association. He has also served on the board of trustees and the executive committee of the Horticultural Research Institute, and is currently an honorary member of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Board of Trustees.
