BASF appoints new managers
BASF has recently appointed several new managers. William Baxter, from Cary, N.C., is the new business manager for the Turf, Ornamental and Pest Control group, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Baxter will oversee day-to-day business operations, growth and development of these groups.
Richard Kalik of Pittsburgh, Pa., has been appointed national accounts manager for the Turf, Ornamental and Pest Control group. He will develop and implement business plans and negotiate sales agreements with national accounts that market BASF’s line of herbicide and insecticide products.
Derek Miller of Raleigh, N.C., is the new marketing communications manager for the Turf, Ornamental and Pest Control group. He will manage and implement marketing and communications programs to provide news and information on BASF products to industry professionals.
BASF has appointed Kyle Miller of Chesterfield, Va., as senior technical specialist for the Turf and Ornamental group. Miller will provide technical support for the BASF sales force and work with the biology and project management groups to develop fungicide, herbicide and insecticide products for professional use.
William Strickland is the new marketing manager for the Turf, Ornamental and Pest Control group. In his new position, Strickland will develop and implement marketing strategies for the full line of BASF professional turf and pest control products.
