BASF Turf & Ornamental Business Moves Sales and Marketing Personnel Closer to Distributors and End Users
BASF Corporation announces sales and marketing personnel changes to better serve its growing Turf & Ornamental Business: William Strickland is senior marketing manager; Rich Kalik is national accounts manager; Greg Thompson is regional sales manager, Northern United States; and Bryan Brochin is marketing associate.
“We’re excited about the new changes because they give these key team members more opportunities to listen to our distributors, end users, and sales force,” says Mike Toce, business manager, BASF Turf & Ornamental Business. “Positioning our sales and marketing team even closer to the people we serve helps us better meet customer needs.”
As senior marketing manager for the BASF Turf and Ornamental business, Strickland focuses on golf, lawn care and turf market strategies. As national accounts manager, Kalik will focus exclusively on key accounts and the formulator business. As regional sales manager, Northern United States, Thompson will work with distribution channels to ensure BASF sales representatives are meeting distributor needs and, ultimately, the needs of their end users, including lawn care professionals and golf course superintendents. As marketing associate, Brochin will be working closely with Strickland and the management team as a contact for manufacturing, customer service, finance and regulatory. He will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day BASF Turf & Ornamental marketing functions.
