Brian Tepper Named Western Regional Manager For Bayer Environmental Science
Brian Tepper was recently named Western Regional Sales Manager – Golf for Bayer Environmental Science, the company announced. He takes over responsibilities for the territory from Mike Daly, who recently became sales manager of the new Lawn & Landscape Region for Bayer.
Tepper was Manager of the Global Termite Portfolio for Bayer, working at the company headquarters in Lyon, France, from July 2002 until now. He led the development of global strategic projects for the termite product portfolio.
Previously, Tepper was Global Termite & Wood Market Manager for Aventis Environmental Science in Frankfurt, Germany for nearly two years. He also held various positions with Rhone Poulenc in Research Triangle Park, N.C., including Insecticide Group Product Manager, Fipronil Product Manager, and Fungicide Product Manager, from 1987 through 1999. In addition, he served as field development representative in Florida for three years, working in both the turf and ornamental and crop markets.
Prior to joining Rhone Roulenc, Tepper worked as a field pathologist for Yoder Brothers, one of the largest ornamental producers in the world, in Ft. Myers, Florida.
A native of New York, Tepper holds a bachelor’s degree in plant pathology from Cornell University and a master’s degree in plant pathology and agricultural economics from Virginia Tech University.
