Briggs & Stratton name new vice president of information technology

Richard Kolbe was recently named Vice President of Information Technology at Briggs & Stratton. In his new position, Kolbe will work to closely align the direction of the Information Technology group with the business growth strategies of selective acquisitions and international expansion. Other responsibilities include integrating systems and processes throughout the supply chain.

Kolbe has over twenty years of information technology experience in the manufacturing sector. Most recently, he served as vice president-chief information officer at Giddings & Lewis, LLC. He previously headed the Information Services group at Harley-Davidson, Inc.
