Canadian pesticide bill on hold
A rewrite of Canada's pesticide laws – one that might include a ban on "cosmetic" pesticides used for lawn care – has been put on hold for the summer. The bill was passed by Canada's House of Commons, but has not been voted on by the Canadian senate, which is slated to take the issue up when it resumes business in September.
