Chuck Borman named GCSAA chief operation officer

The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has selected Chuck Borman, CAE, to fill the association's chief operating officer position. Borman has served as executive director of the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association, one of GCSAA's 102 affiliated chapters, since 1998. Before that, he served on the GCSAA staff, first as the director of membership and then as a coordinating advisor.

As chief operating officer, Borman will oversee numerous GCSAA member programs and services in the areas of education, research, environmental stewardship, career development, member/chapter services, communications, government relations, information services, conference events and publications.
