Daewoo Unveils New Online Parts Ordering System
Daewoo Heavy Industries America Corp. (DHIAC) recently announced the launch of their new online parts ordering system to North America Daewoo dealers. The new system allows dealers to create personalized purchase orders, as well as to manage these orders to streamline the parts process.
The online parts system is a new feature on Daewoo’s Web site, which offers 24-hour access to parts inventory information, along with online parts manuals for quick and easy download. It also allows dealers to perform multiple parts searches on an order entry form to ensure that they get the exact part they need for a specific machine. Another highlight of the site is real-time pricing on parts, which eliminates outdated price sheets and misquotes between the dealer and their customer.
Additionally, the Daewoo online parts system provides the ability for a dealer to select a shipping method for each part in their order. Therefore, if a part is required immediately, Daewoo can expedite the shipment. This option allows the purchaser to ship full or partial orders to one or multiple dealership locations or customers.
