Donation made to Aquatrols’ Robert A. Moore Endowment Fund at GCSAA

Aquatrols is proud to announce the donation of a portion of this year’s profits to the Aquatrols’ Robert A. Moore Endowment Fund for turfgrass research. This year’s donation of $9,000 was presented to Mike Wallace, President of GCSAA, during the 75th Annual GCSAA Conference and Show in Orlando, Fla.

The endowment fund was established with money from the corporation and various family members in 2000 to honor the company’s founder, Robert A. Moore, and Aquatrols has made a commitment to maintain the contributions from sales of Aquatrols turf management products. “Establishment of a research endowment fund is a fitting way to give back to the industry and recognize the contributions made by Bob Moore and Aquatrols,” said Tracy Jarman, president and CEO. “It was a way to contribute to the golf industry on a long-term basis.”

Grants will be made from the endowment fund by its board of trustees based on the recommendation of GCSAA’s Research Committee.
