EETC appoints executive director
The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) has appointed Jim Roche as executive director. Roche has worked in the power equipment industry for the past 20 years. He’s worked in technical service for manufacturers such as Echo Incorporated, Husqvarna and Scag Power Equipment. He started in the industry with his own small engine business.
As a founding member of the EETC and as a member of its Executive Board, Roche has served in all areas of the organization. “We’re very exited to have Jim on board,” said Chuck Bontrager, President of the EETC Executive Board. “He really got this organization off the ground, and he will remain part of the association working with our school accreditation program.”
Established in 1997, the Equipment & Engine Training Council is a not-for-profit industry organization whose goal is to address the critical shortage of service technicians in the outdoor power equipment and heavy equipment industries.
