Enhanced rebate program from BASF offers cash rewards for turf managers and distributors
William Strickland, Marketing Manager for the BASF Turf and Ornamental products group announced the enhancement of its Green Connection rebate program, effective February 1, 2002 through May 3, 2002 and covering any BASF pendimethalin plus fertilizer product. The Green Connection rewards professional end-use customers and distributors for supporting private-labeled professional products manufactured with BASF pendimethalin technical. End-use customers are defined as those persons or entities that actually use the product as labeled.
Pendimethalin prevents the emergence of more than 40 broadleaf and grassy weeds, such as crabgrass, goosegrass, oxalis, henbit and spurge.
Strickland added that additional details about this special program should be noted to obtain the highest rebates available:
-Distributor sales representatives not already enrolled in the 2002 Green Connection program must complete an enrollment form by May 3, 2002.
-Only authorized BASF distributors and distributor sales representatives can receive an incentive payment.
To qualify for rebates, turf professionals need only purchase any private-labeled BASF pendimethalin plus fertilizer products between February 1 and May 3 from The Andersons Inc., Lesco, Helena Chemical Company, United Horticultural Supply and Southern States Cooperative. Redemption coupons, available from you distributor or from BASF at www.turffacts.com, should be completed and mailed with the original invoices no later than May 17, 2002.
