Environmentally sensitive bullets

The U.S. military is showing its green. Not the kind you see on military fatigues, but the kind that shows you're environmentally sensitive.

According to the Wall Street Journal, military planners are implementing a switch from lead bullets to tungsten-alloy bullets. The move is intended to reduce the amount of environmental lead. So far, no complaints about the performance of the tungsten bullets, although the cost is about 50% higher.
