Hunter Industries Pledges Funds to Support Golf’s Environmental Institute
Hunter Industries pledged $50,000 for the Environmental Institute for Golf to help support applied research and advanced education in golf course management.
Since its inception in 1955, the institute has provided more than $2 million in support of research studies and nearly 1,200 student scholarships. Through its programs and services, the institute researches and develops best management practices for golf courses while interacting with golf course superintendents, owners, builders, governmental and regulatory agencies, environmental groups and the media.
“The institute plays a key role in the continued growth of the game, and to that end, we are pleased and proud to support it,” says Hunter.
