ITODA sets annual RISE meetingThe Independent Turf & Ornamental Distributors Association (ITODA) will hold its 4th Annual RISE/ITODA Breakfast at 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 7 at the 76th Annual Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Conference and Show here.
ITODA officials and members of Responsible Industry for a Safe Environment (RISE) have been getting together since 1999 at the GCSAA headquarters hotel. This year the breakfast is at the Rosen Centre (formerly the Omni Rosen), near the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive.
President Don Naumann of Sierra Pacific Turf Supply in Campbell, Calif., also announced 2002 summer and fall meetings for ITODA, which was formed in 1990 to foster the trade, commerce and interest of those engaged in the business of servicing and marketing turf and ornamental products.
The summer session will be conducted June 20-23 at the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos, Calif. The fall meeting will be held October 16-20 at Marriott Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
