Landscapes Unlimited has placed the first commercial order for BlueYellow engineered turf system. Landscapes Unlimited plans to install the new product from Georgia-Pacific on the fairways and roughs at an exclusive golf course they are developing.

BlueYellow, which provides a one-step solution for golf course turf establishment, combines a cellulose-based substrate with a calibrated distribution of high quality grass seed and fertilizer in the form of a lightweight, 100 percent biodegradable roll.

Landscapes Unlimited will use BlueYellow containing bentgrass seed on 20 acres of the golf course’s fairways and surrounds and BlueYellow with fescue seed on 10 acres of the roughs. Both the Bent and Fescue products are being custom manufactured to the exact specifications required by the course owner’s design and construction teams.
