NGF offers golf management school
The
National Institute of Golf Management is now accepting registrations for its
2002 golf course management seminar to be held January 13-17 at the three-star
Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, W.Va.
Co-sponsored
by the National Golf Foundation (NGF) and the Continuing Education Department at
Oglebay, the five-day program is led by subject experts on all aspects of golf
facility management.
Upon
completion of the second-year program attendees will receive 4.8 continuing
education credits [CEUs] and graduate students will receive 2.4 CEUs from North
Carolina State University. Members of the Golf Course Superintendents
Association of America, and Club Managers Association of America may receive
CEUs from their respective organizations, as will members of the PGA of America
and the LPGA.
Keynote
speaker, David Pillsbury, will address the group on Thursday, Jan. 17. Pillsbury
is Co-Chief Executive Officer of American Golf Corporation and serves on NGF's
Board of Directors.
