Rain Bird Corporation names new director of contractor division

Rain Bird Corporation announced the appointment of Jim Gitney as director of its Contractor Division, effective January 2002. In this position, Gitney will oversee the Division’s manufacturing, engineering, quality, sales and marketing efforts.

Gitney comes to Rain Bird with more than 20 years of experience in management, manufacturing and operations roles, primarily with Fortune 500 companies, including GE, Black & Decker.
