Scotts Seed To Host Quiz Bowl At GCSAA

All attendees of the 2004 GCSAA show February 12-14 are invited to stop by The Scotts Company’s booth for a chance to win a $2500 scholarship for their alma mater by participating in the Scotts Seed Quiz Bowl.

Participants will be tested on their knowledge of Roundup Ready® Creeping Bentgrass, Scotts Hybrid Bluegrass Series, genetic diversity golf trivia and other related topics.

Competitions will take place at various times at The Scotts Company booth during the following sessions: Thursday, February 12th in the afternoon, Friday, February 13th during the morning and afternoon, and Saturday morning, February 14th. A grand prize will be awarded to the individual with the highest score for each of the four sessions. Each contestant will also be playing for his or her alma matter. A collective score will be kept and the alumni “team” with the highest score will win a $2500 scholarship for their school.
