Sweepster and FFC Attachments announce merger
Sweepster, Inc., and FFC Attachments (Farmer's Factory Company) have announced completion of an agreement to merge the two privately held companies. Michael Spear, currently CEO and general manager of Sweepster, will assume the position of president of the combined company. Charles Foster, vice president and general manager of FFC Attachments, will serve as vice president and general manager of the new company.

Sweepster manufactures an extensive line of sweepers for a wide range of markets. The company's product line includes sweeper attachments for all makes of lawn & garden, compact utility, commercial turf, agricultural, utility and industrial tractors. In addition, Sweepster makes walk-behind sweepers and self-propelled sweepers, including airport runway sweepers. The company's corporate and manufacturing facilities are located in Dexter, Mich.
FFC Attachments manufactures a complete line of attachments for skid-steer loaders, backhoe-loaders, small wheel loaders, and utility loaders. The company's extensive product line is used in earthmoving, paving, material-handling, building, demolition, recycling, landscaping, snow removal, agriculture, and industrial and municipal applications. FFC's corporate and manufacturing facilities are located in Lee, Ill.
Current plans call for continued operation of both the Dexter and Lee facilities.
