Sweepster, Inc., Chairman Phil Jenkins announced the appointment of Michael Spear as Chief Executive Officer/general manager and Don Socks as Chief Operating Officer effective July 30, 2001.

Spear began his career with Ford Tractor in 1971 and most recently served as vice president and general manager of Tisco in St. Paul, Minn. Socks has been employed by Sweepster since 1968, serving in a variety of capacities.
