Syngenta Expands Sales And Marketing Team
Syngenta Professional Products strengthens its commitment to the Turf, Ornamental, and Aquatics businesses with several key additions to its sales and marketing team.
“Syngenta continues its commitment to the turf and ornamental (T&O) and aquatic markets by offering our customers additional sales and marketing resources,” said Keelan Pulliam, head of Syngenta turf, ornamental and aquatic businesses. “Adding these three professionals and the experience they bring to the Syngenta Professional Products T&O organization supports our investment in and dedication to this growing industry.”
Steve Stansell will join the Syngenta T&O team as marketing manager for lawn and landscape and aquatics. Stansell is currently a marketing manager for the Syngenta northern field crops business unit with a focus on the specialty markets and products. Stansell joined Syngenta in 1989, and was previously a district sales manager. Stansell will take his new position in March, and will relocate to Greensboro.
Stansell will work with current market managers Joe DiPaola, Ph.D., who will continue to focus on the golf market; and Chuck Buffington, who will lead the ornamental market. In addition, Stansell will be the lead for the aquatics market while Jim Petta focuses on technical and sales efforts for aquatics.
Bob Froelich joined the Midwest District as ornamental sales specialist, on January 1, 2004. Froelich brings over 17 years experience in the horticulture marketplace with a focus on ornamentals. Froelich comes to the Professional Products business from Syngenta Seeds Inc., S&G Flowers and was previously an ornamental sales specialist with Syngenta legacy company, Novartis. Froelich is located in Columbus, Ohio.
Amy Holm will join the Northeast District as an ornamental sales specialist in March. Amy is currently a research and development specialist at the Syngenta Vero Beach Research Station. With a master’s degree in plant pathology, Holm will bring her technical knowledge of insecticides and fungicides on ornamentals to the sales team. Holm will be located in the Philadelphia area.
