56th annual Southeastern Turfgrass Conference

The 56th annual Southeastern Turfgrass Conference will be held May 6-7, 2002, in Tifton, Ga. There will be a pesticide workshop in the morning of May 6. That afternoon, there will be presentations and discussions on the research and teaching of plot areas. The more formal educational sessions on May 7 will be at the Rural Development Center. There will be a general session in the morning covering pest and water management, and genetic engineering issues. In the afternoon, there will be specific sessions on golf, ornamentals, sports turf and sod production.
