The Toro Company joins NGCOA Preferred Supplier Network; offers course management assistance, specialty pricing to members
The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) announced that The Toro Company is the association’s preferred supplier for both irrigation systems and turf maintenance equipment. Toro joins with other leading brands offering special buying programs to help golf course owners leverage their budgets.
Under the agreement, member courses will be offered rebates on qualified purchases, reduced pricing on irrigation assessments and support for Toro Financing, fleet management, operating efficiencies and best practices of water management and equipment maintenance from their local Toro distributor.
“The new relationship will help NGCOA members and their superintendents work closely together to tackle the issues facing them today,” says Mike Hughes, NGCOA executive director. “By offering our members a preferred supplier with the wide range of products and services provided by Toro, we are providing solutions to the course -- both for the owner and superintendent.”
More and more superintendents and owners are working in tandem to find solutions that save water and reduce labor. "Toro understands superintendents and the agronomic challenges they face," says John Wright, director of marketing for Toro golf equipment.
Toro complements the NGCOA mission of enhancing the lives of golf course owners and operators by making their businesses more profitable, better managed and more stable. The shared vision of these organizations will result in stronger partnerships between the golf course owner and superintendent and continued mutual success.
The National Golf Course Owners Association, representing more than 4,600 golf courses, is an international association devoted exclusively to promoting the interests of golf course owners and operators.
