The Toro Workman to appear at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
The Toro Workman will be in New York City along with Big Bird, Ronald McDonald, Pikachu, Charlie Brown, Little Bill, Kermit and Mr. Monopoly on Thanksgiving Day. For over 75 years, Macy's has given us a tradition that both celebrates America and launches the Christmas season.
Macy’s selected Toro to be the official supplier of utility vehicles for behind the scenes and the parade itself. A fleet of 40 Toro Workman 2110 utility vehicles will be delivered by Storr Tractor Company, a Toro distributor based in Somerville, N.J.
"We’re delighted to be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Neil Borenstein, Toro's senior marketing manager for vehicles. “The parade is rich with tradition for old and young, New York City and America. The Workman utility vehicles will perform alongside the balloons and floats on Broadway with extraordinary stability, traction and ride."
"Storr Tractor Company has been serving the people of Long Island and areas of New York and New Jersey with their Toro turf care equipment since 1968,” said MaryLou Des Champs, president and treasurer of Storr Tractor Company. “We are proud to support the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thanksgiving would not be the same without the Macy’s spectacular."
