Turfgrass Producers International elects officers and board members
Turfgrass Producers International (TPI) announced the following individuals were elected officers (one-year term) and board members (three-year term) during the annual business meeting of the TPI 37th Annual Summer Convention and Field Days, conducted July 16-19 in Ft. Collins, Colo.
Stan Gardner, owner of Gardner Turfgrass, Inc., Westminster, Colo., was elected TPI president. Prior to his election as president, Gardner was vice-president, having been first elected to the 11-person board of trustees in 1997. In 2000, he was elected an officer to serve as secretary-treasurer.
Ed Zuckerman, president and CEO, Delta Bluegrass Company, Stockton, Calif., was elected TPI vice-president. For the past year, he served as TPI Secretary-treasurer and was first elected to the group’s board of trustees for a three-year term in 1992.
Art Campbell, owner of Campbell Sod, Rossville, Kan., was elected TPI secretary-treasurer. Campbell served as a TPI trustee since 1999.
The following individuals were newly elected to the TPI board of trustees: George P. Brandt, Jr., owner and president of American Sod Corp., Palatine, Ill.; and Randy Graff, CEO and owner of Graff’s Turf Farms, Inc., Ft. Morgan, Colo.
