Turf-Seed and Golf Ventures form partnership

Turf-Seed, Inc. and Golf Ventures have entered into an exclusive arrangement in the state of Florida. Golf Ventures will have exclusive distribution in the marketing of Winterstar Poa trivialis. Winterstar Poa trivialis is a recent release from Turf-Seed, Inc. Experimentally designated as PST-OOS, it has a deep green color with improved density and texture that allows a rapid spring transition in the southern overseeding markets. Winterstar can be seeded as a monostand or blended with turf-type perennial ryegrass or creeping bentgrass for niche overseeding mixtures. It will tolerate close mowing from 1/8" to 1/10" of an inch.
